About This Course
The PADI Open Water Diver certification, three days in Calangute and Grande Island that turn you from a non-diver into a certified diver, free to plan and dive anywhere in the world up to 18 metres. Self-paced online theory (4–5 hours), five confined-water sessions, and four open-water dives. eLearning materials, all dive gear, hotel pickup in North Goa, and the certification card are included.
Course Curriculum
Knowledge Development
4–5 hours (self-paced)Online theory via PADI eLearning covering dive physics, physiology, equipment, and planning.
Confined Water Dives
Day 1, half day5 sessions in shallow water mastering buoyancy, mask clearing, regulator recovery, and emergency skills.
Open Water Dives 1 & 2
Day 2, full dayFirst two ocean dives at Calangute reef with your instructor. Put skills into practice in real conditions.
Open Water Dives 3 & 4
Day 3, full dayTwo more dives with greater independence. Navigation, buoyancy control, underwater exploration.
